Visiting my twin brother



This past summer my mom, my sister - her husband - their 3 yr. old daughter, and me and my husband went to visit my twin brother in LA, California. We were there for an entire week, but by far the funnest part was our visit to the CBS studios in Burbank.


My brother has a friend who works as a camera man for the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, so he met us at the studios and gave us a behind the scenes tour. The picture above is us on the Price is Right sound stage. It's SO MUCH smaller in person! After the tour, we went to watch a soap opera, The Young and the Restless, being filmed for a few hours. My mom is a huge Y&R fan, so it was an incredible experience. We even were able to meet the actors and chat.

    I think it is so cool that you got to go and experience behind the scenes in Hollywood! So who did you get to meet from Y & R? I haven't watched that soap for years. Probably the same old story line...

    It is DEFINITELY the same old story line! I'm going to use character names, because I can't remember all their actual names: Nick, Jack, Lauren, Michael, Victor, Jill, and Ashley. Ashley is SUPER nice and so was Jill. Nick is SUPER full of himself...but I guess that's what I expected!
