When you have finished posting a comment with a picture and also posting a comment in somebody else's entry, just close this window to continue working on the learning module. You will get .2 points if you follow the directions for this assignment. Your comment can be about anything that's going on in your life. Have fun with it. The sky is the limit. I like to add videos but you don't have to if you don't want. One picture is enough.

Final Post
It has been a great semester. I can't believe it will end next week. I have had a lot of fun learning Spanish this way. I have never taken an online Spanish course before and I wasn't sure how effective it would be. However, I learned a lot from this class. I have taken basic Spanish more than once and I still learned something new about the basics of Spanish. I loved this class and have recommended it to a few people I know to help finish their concentration. The Wimba classroom could be kinda frustrating sometimes but it was overall useful. I'm going to miss this class and hope to take the next section in the fall.

Adios!
I can't believe this class is almost over! I have absolutely loved learning Spanish with everyone! As complicated as the Wimba Classroom could be, it really helped me learn and enjoy this class ten times more. I feel so much more comfortable speaking Spanish now that we have focused on correct pronunciation. I wish there was a Spanish for Educators 2!!
Hot Wings Anyone?
Hot wings anyone? My husband enjoys trying new recipes especially when it comes to Hot Wings. He made these last weekend and they were awesome!! This weekend he made New England Clam Chowder and it was excelente! He has enjoyed making Chicken Etouffee, jumbalaya, BBQ smoker, beer chili, curry chicken, awesome friend rice are a few of his signature dishes. I am fortunate enough to have such a great husband who likes to cook on the weekends. The down fall is that he wants every new kitchen gadget out there. He had his eye on a counter top turkey fryer for Thanksgiving, but changed his mind when he saw how much they were. He can use his beer making kettle for a fryer if he really wanted to. I guess I should not complain about the kitchen gadgets, because most husbands do not help out in the kitchen. Friday, December 2, 2011
California
I am looking forward to next years Spring Break, because I get to see my family! My brother (pictured left with me) lives in San Francisco and works for a skateboarding company. I get to see him and my sister, who lives 3 hours north of there. We are then taking a road trip down the coast to visit my grandmother and aunt in Ventura. Ah California Love.
Hopefully I'll be able to scout out some towns along the coast too, where one day I may live and teach!
Cruisin' the caribbean
In exactly 15 days I will be aboard this ship with my awesome husband. We are heading to Jamaica and Grand Cayman Islands on a 5 day cruise.
We have never been on a cruise before and are so stinkin' excited. We are leaving the kids with my mom in Florida and having a 5 day vacation that I think we have definitely deserved.
With my taking 17-21 credits each semester and my husband just getting back from deployment in Sept (while earning his BS in Business Management) we have had one heck of a year and this is how we plan to celebrate our year.
We are so excited and I can't wait to get a tan in December!

This is the project I'm doing. I'm fixing the door of a little building we have in our house. Now that the semester is almost over, I'll be able to spend more time fixing things in the house. I'm not a professional carpenter but if I make mistakes I can always paint over them :)

End of semester
Haven't been doing much fun things lately with the end of semester right around the corner. I enjoyed what little bit of time I got to reast during our Thanksgiving break but wished it could have been longer. This first week back was brutal. I had a paper due and 2 or 3 assingments do here and there for all my classes. On top of what classes I'm already in I am still worrying about classes for next sememster. I'm waitlisted on a class I need so I will have to pray I get a spot or that the professor will be kind enough to override to let me in. I am excited about Christmas break even though technically for me it will not be a break. I'm doing the winter session which is a class from December to January. It is online so no getting up to go to a classroom but it's only a month long so I imagine it will be super hard. Anyway that is what has been going on in my life as of late. Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving, is doing well with finals coming, and is looking forward to Christmas.
